Trey became very passionate about hip-hop at the age of 12. By day, he developed his craft by freestyling and battle rapping at school and the bus stop. By night, he wrote rhymes with more focus, allowing him to grow as an adaptable MC. It wasn't until 2009 that he began his journey on guitar. He has since then combined his instrumental flair with his ability as a lyricist, giving an alternative idea to the typical "frontman.” Trey actively performs throughout Detroit as a solo artist and as a lead guitarist with fellow Detroit bands ONEFREQ and The NLR Experience. His talents have granted him the opportunity to open up for world-renowned artists Erykah Badu, Gregory Porter, Hiatus Kaiyote and many more.
